“A 3D Santa wishes you a merry Christmas”

Get your new Leopard Mac in the Christmas spirit with this new Mac screensaver. XmasBotZ displays a 3D Santa with a background of falling snow. The real originality with this screensaver is that the animated Santa will actually wish you Happy Holidays every time you speak into your Mac's built in microphone.

While the demo version is fairly limited, the full title will give you access to three more characters, snowman, reindeer and Christmas tree and two new backgrounds. You'll also be able to import your very own background image and add custom sentences for the 3D character to say.

The falling snow and stars look really nice and the 3D Santa is well rendered but the greeting is the only bit that really gets annoying after a while. Our suggestion, you're best switching it off once you've gotten tired of it.

XmasBotZ is a sound activated virtual Santa screensaver.

Santa has come to Leopard, and he's brought some friends to help decorate your screen. A virtual, 3D Santa wishes you, "Happy Holidays", while snow gently falls in the background. Santa listens, using your Mac's built-in microphone, responding with your custom messages. Santa will also bring along a Snowman, Reindeer, and a Christmas Tree; each with their own voice.
